Order Picking Forklift - What can I drive?

What can I do with an Order-Picking Forklift Licence?

To operate an order-picking forklift truck you need an LO high risk work licence.
An order-picking forklift truck has the operator's control as part of the load carriage/lifting media and lifts with it. Order-picking forklift trucks are generally referred to as "stock pickers". They can be fitted with a platform extension for use in furniture warehouses, or can be a turret truck in narrow aisle warehouses.

Course overview
  •   We offer a nationally recognised licence.
  •   Quality training on Crown order-picking forklifts.
  •   Learn about legislation and standards applicable to operating an order-picking forklift.
  •   Understand risk management, control procedures and planning work.
  •   Conduct routine checks of the order-picking forklift.
  •   Shift loads in a safe manner, shut down and secure the order-picking forklift.
  •   On successful completion you will be given a Statement of Attainment  to apply for licence online at WH&S Qld website.
  •   You must be at least 18 years old to sit WH&S Qld assessment.
What to bring on the day?
  •   Photo ID: Driver's Licence, Passport, Medicare Card, Adult Proof of Age Card. For a full list of acceptable ID documents, visit WH&S website.
  •   Suitable clothing. If you have, bring Personal Protective Equipment.
  •   Appropriate footwear, no open footwear is allowed.

How much are your courses and what's included in the price?
TLILIC2002 - Order Picker Forklift licence for beginners:
  •   $550   
      2 Days (1 day training + 1 day assessment)
      (Online theory pre-training as part of COVID Safe Plan)

Course includes:
  • Full training in theory and practical driving
    (Theory is completed online)
  •  All course learning materials 
  • Supplied training resources and equipment, including hi-vis vest. Theory and Practical assessment

This course provides all the training required to become a safe and competent operator.  Prices excludes W.H.S.Q.  application fee

If our trainer believes that the student may need further study or log more hours to become a competent operator.  Students will be welcomed back for further  training and assessment, for a $100 extra charge.

* Courses can be conducted at approved onsite business premises.  Minimum three students required.
